When Morning Comes
Updated: Dec 15, 2020

Dear friend,
There is such hope in the statement “when morning comes!” So much is new as the stars melt away under the brightness of the sun. As it peeks over the horizon, the promise of new choices or actions are in this new day.
Today is a new day!
Normally, I do not wake up with such hope. I have had a lifetime of waking up each morning full of dread for the new day. Of all the things that can possibly go wrong in just a day. It is intimidating to say the least. So generally I wake up already in fear and angst about what is coming my way.
Well, not today. Today I awoke with a peace that things were going to be alright. This was a new day, full of hope and promise and it-all-started-with-a-drawer! It may not be this way every day, but this day, and now with the hope to be every day, that my Lord offers!
Organizing is my passion! I’ve been able to do it so many times to change the lives of others. This time though, I’m going to do it for me! Just one drawer at a time!
I’d like to invite you on a journey. One I’ve been on before. A journey full of hope and purpose! As I seek the face of Christ in the precious moments of the day, I will return once again to the hope and joy I have had before debilitating depression hit my life so many years ago.
Will you walk with me? Will you come along for the ride and see where God takes us?
I am praying for Grace to abound in this journey and that hope rains new Every morning.
Sincerely,
Marlena Jo
